Piper is home and she is back to her usual antics! 🙂 Sher had this to say about her first night back at home: “I had her in a nice pen for the night and she truly wanted to be with us snuggled in as usual, but she had to stay in her pen. I stayed up until about 1:30am hoping she would finally go to sleep. I finally gave up and curled up on the couch with all the other pups, and around 3am Piper crawled under the covers with us! She had escaped!
SO… I put her in the powder room and this morning when I went to get her, she had destroyed the entire roll of paper towels and she was wearing her soft e-collar like a skirt! Of course she just gave me her innocent look!
We are waiting for the lab results to come back. There is so much wrong with her internally that the surgeon doesn’t want to make any suppositions as to Piper’s prognosis.
