Hershey update! (and yes, the doctor had to get on his knees to get a better look at our tiny little boy 😅)
Our sweet Hershey saw the eye specialist last week, and it was confirmed he has mature cataracts. While surgery is an option, the doctor advised against it.. the long, difficult recovery would be too stressful for him, and we want to protect his happiness above all else.
The good news is that he’s not in any pain!
So now, we adjust. We become his eyes, guide him with love, and make sure his world stays safe, comforting, and full of everything he enjoys.
He may not see the world the same way anymore… but he will always feel how loved he is! 🥰
