House with a Heart is home to 17 senior and special needs dogs, 1 senior cat, 2 foster kitties and 4 forever fosters. The Sanctuary was created in 2006 by Sher Polvinale and her late husband Joe. Sanctuary residents are dogs and cats who have lost their families and homes through no fault of their own. Because of their advanced age and various medical conditions, they have little chance of being adopted. Once a dog became a resident, it would have a loving home for life.
| We are having this event to raise money for our overwhelming medical costs in 2023. We rescued Bella and her two sons in early February: Next came a rescue all the way from California, little Jules. Hershey, our little 4 lb chihuahua followed next. Each have their own special medical challenges and we are only able to help them with your support!
