A recent visitor was surprised that we have made arrangements for all of the HWAH residents and Forever Fosters to be cared for when I am gone.
Even though we have people named and funds available i still worry if they outlive me what will happen to them. I am grateful that we have many volunteers so it is likely all of our critters would be safe, but not everyone has that luxury.
We often get calls and emails from friends or family members who are trying to re-home a beloved pet or PETS of someone who has passed away.
