We are so excited to be able to share more of our series “New Beginnings”, HWAH K-9 & Kitty Medical Miracles
Peyton’s beautiful portrait by artist Bobbi Miller goes along with his adoption..
Peyton was recently seen at the veterinarians to check his blood work and for a full exam and x-rays. Peyton also needs to be sedated for any procedure done to him at the veterinarians. This recent bill was $669.19. He was also diagnosed with a rotten tooth that should be removed.
The concern is the growing discomfort in his hind leg and gradual lack of mobility and soreness that will continue (all of these issues won’t make him a happy old man).
The veterinarian highly suggested a monthly injection of Librela. They think it will greatly increase his quality of life. The injection is being given at the kennel by one of our techs thus decreasing the cost of a vet visit to provide the injection. Our cost for Librela is $79 per month. Canine osteoarthritis is a progressive joint disease and the leading cause of chronic pain in dogs.
HWAH provided a $ 1,025.59 grant towards his medical and vet bills
Thanks to YOUR generosity, our HWAH K-9 & Kitty Medical Miracles Fund was able to help Peyton get the medical care he desperately needed
