Meet Bingo
Bingo was surrendered to the animal shelter because his family was moving and couldn’t take this sweet boy with them. Bingo has spent the past 10 years with the same family, only to be put in a shelter with unfamiliar shelter. He is very sweet and just wants to follow you everywhere you go. He would make a wonderful companion for someone who just wants company around the house and a quiet dog that loves to lay with you.
Bingo is bigger than the average chihuahua. He has long legs and weighs about 15 pounds. Bingo was surrendered to an animal shelter when his owners moved and decided not to bring him along with them. We pulled him into our care not knowing the medical crisis he was in.
We quickly noticed Bingo was lethargic, drinking alot, and having trouble urinating. It turns out that he had kidney disease and will need regular medication for the rest of his life. He requires his blood pressure to be checked often and his blood work showed high protein in the urine. He had a chronic ear infection we are still battling to treat.
This guy was a mess, but he has the best foster mom ever! This was a very unexpected expense, but one we have committed to.
Our biggest challenge will be finding a forever home that will accommodate his ongoing care. Until then, he will be loved in our rescue.
