Sir Shag, forever in our hearts

Dec 2, 2015 | Blog, The Sanctuary

It is with heavy hearts that we bid goodbye on December 1st to our sweet, regal, Sir Shag.  This darling little Pekinese came to us from an Eastern Shore animal shelter, quite a number of years ago, along with his brother, Tiny Tim.  Shaggyman was such a handsome little guy and sported long, flowing ears and tail.  He was not a cuddler, but enjoyed the company of his humans and fellow residents, especially when treats were being given out.

Shaggy had been diagnosed with liver cancer and we knew it was time to say goodbye to our beloved prince.  No matter what, we have to do right by our residents.  His Mamas Sher and Harriette were with him as he peacefully crossed the Bridge.
