Our K-9 & Kitty Medical Miracles program continues to thrive – all thanks to YOU and your generous donations! This program provides medical grants to Rescue Partners who save senior dogs and cats from shelters or owner give-ups.

Pepper, a sweet and gentle 12-year-old Cockapoo, was an owner surrender at an animal shelter. The 11-pound pup was overlooked by potential adopters because of his age and medical issues – until he was pulled from the shelter by Gray Face Acres Senior Dog Rescue in Maryland!
A $1,700 medical grant from the House with a Heart K-9 & Kitty Medical Miracles program enabled Gray Face Acres to get the dental work (10 teeth extracted) and ear growth surgery (one wart removed) Pepper needed, and the pup came through with flying colors! The medical treatments prepared Pepper for adoption, and as the photo shows, he’s now with a wonderful furever family. Happy tails, Pepper
