What a great start to the new year – seeing an adorable cat named Marigold safe and happy in a furever home! And it’s all thanks to your donations, enabling us to make Medical Grants to help move wonderful animals from being left behind to being LOVED.
Marigold was one of 10 cats rescued from a home by Pets Bring Joy, a Fairfax, Virginia-based animal group. All the cats had significant issues but none as severe as Marigold. The sweet and friendly girl needed immediate medical attention, and she ended up in the emergency hospital after becoming extremely lethargic and passing a large amount of blood. The vet team indicated the need for an emergency spay to stop the underlying bleeding plus antibiotics and pain medication to address other medical issues.
The House with a Heart K-9 & Kitty Medical Miracles Fund provided a $1,000 grant to help with medical care, and we’re so happy to report this adorable kitty has been saved and is now enjoying life in a loving furever home!
Thanks again to our supporters for making these Medical Grants possible! We couldn’t do this wonderful work without YOU!
