We want to share the story of how Lori (our assistant director), came to be a most valued member of the “Love Lives Here” team
“I am grateful every day for the good fortune that brought Lori to House with a Heart. She started off as a volunteer working in the Kennel as a Kennel Assistant. She was very dedicated and really showed how much she cared about the visiting dogs and the residents, so I began to lean on her more and more.
Soon she became a Forever Foster Mom, first to Teddy, and then Bear and Poppy. 
Her dedication knows no bounds, she jumped right in when our wonderful Volunteer Coordinator had to leave, and she has taken over the Kennel reservation process for the Short Term care program.
She has added so many tasks to her list of things to do for HWAH that now she is our Assistant Director. No matter what the need she is there to answer the call for help, Fundraising, Foster program, Grant program, Visitation program, Facebook posting…. We email often every day and Lori has become a part of the fabric of my life and the running of House with a Heart…. Lori is the embodiment of “Love Lives Here”!!!”
