Welcome to Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving! Our theme this year is “Pay It Forward to 2021.”
As a sanctuary for senior and special needs pets, one of our biggest expenses after vet fees is our medication costs.
Here are some examples of the estimated annual medication costs for some of our pups with chronic medical conditions:
Piper –$1,000
Tator Tot –$865
Monroe –$950
Spike –$1,500
Of course, many of our other seniors get daily medications as well, and those costs add up quickly!
We use mail order medication services and buy in quantity when possible, but many of the medications are just pricey, but completely necessary!
Our goal is to raise $7,500 towards our medication costs for 2021.
