Meet Blue Jay!

Feb 1, 2022 | Blog, News, Safety Net

Blue Jay comes to us from our rescue partner LovePaws. She is a 2-year-old petite tabby with medium hair and weighs about 6 pounds.

This sweet girl is a little shy at first, but she warms up fast and hasn’t met anyone she doesn’t like. When she first came to House with a Heart she shared a room with another cat. Since her roommate has been adopted, we have really gotten to see her personality. She loves attention, especially ear rubs and usually entertains our volunteers by rolling around on the floor. She also loves to chase a toy around the room, run up and down the hall or play with a feather wand.

When she isn’t playing, Blue Jay can be found sitting atop her cat tree watching the birds and squirrels in the back yard. She always finds the perfect sunny spot in the room.

Blue Jay would do best in a house where she is the only pet and if there are children in the home, they should be children who have cat experience and are 10 years or older.  Blue Jay is spayed, up to date on vaccines and micro-chipped.
