Can you believe it’s Valentine’s Day already?

Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to show the people and pets we love that we care about them. We have our own Faith’s Fund” to help with the costs of medical care for our pups with complex health needs. Would you consider making a donation to our Faith’s Fund?

TOP TEN REASONS TO SUPPORT HWAH

10: The outcome for senior pets in shelters is not good. HWAH has rescued countless numbers of pets that were considered unadoptable.
9: HWAH provides its residents and forever fosters with a forever home. In order to ensure that these seniors will never be homeless again, they are not up for adoption.
8: Our residents and forever fosters enjoy a comfortable home, with plenty of soft beds, sofas, and other cuddly places to rest.
7: Our residents and forever fosters are given healthful, high end pet foods, home made nutritious stews, and prescription diets when indicated.
6: The Sanctuary has many special accommodations to meet the needs of senior and special needs pets, such as outside ramps, doggie doors, and fenced yards to insure their safety and well-being.
5: Our residents and forever fosters receive the best ongoing veterinary care, which consists of regular well visits, consultation and treatment with veterinary specialists, including cardiac, orthopedic, and emergency care. Surgery is performed to correct health issues, when indicated, in order to make life more comfortable and extend life.
4: Our dedicated staff of volunteers keeps the Sanctuary and grounds spotlessly clean.
3: Residents and forever fosters are bathed regularly and those that require professional grooming receive services from our mobile groomer.
