It is with sadness and regret that we must permanently close our Short-Term Care (STC) services, effective November 1st, 2026. The future of House with a Heart must focus on the residents and special needs animals in our care.
A little background. As you know, the Sanctuary is our director Sher’s personal residence as well. It has been determined that it is in our best interest to stop STC to enable her to focus on our current residents. This will be a difficult transition, and we ask that you honor our request to end Short-Term Care services.
