Our K-9 & Kitty Medical Miracles program continues to help move wonderful dogs and cats from being left behind to being loved – all thanks to YOU and your generous donations! This program provides medical grants to Rescue Partners who save senior pups and kitties from shelters or owner give-ups.

Senior pup Winston was found as a stray by animal control at the Prince George’s County (Maryland) Animal Shelter. Somerset Cottage Poodle Rescue (SCPR) in Northern Virginia spotted the sweet pup once he was at the shelter and after seeing he was experiencing major mouth pain, they pulled him from the shelter to get him immediate medical attention.
The House with a Heart K-9 & Kitty Medical Miracles Fund assisted with a $1,000 medical grant and Winston was able to get the needed dental surgery (25 tooth extractions!) and was also neutered. SCPR Foster Christine nursed Winston back to health following his surgery and then joined the elite Foster Fail Club when she adopted the sweet pup! Happy new life, Winston!
