It’s that time of year when we review and take time to Thank You, our friends and supporters, for your devotion to saving Senior and Special Needs animals along with House with a Heart Senior Pet Sanctuary.
Soon, it will be Thanksgiving, and many families and friends will be sitting down to enjoy a wonderful meal together and give Thanks!!!
Of course, we all know that not everyone may be as blessed as we are. I believe that thinking of others and doing something meaningful gives our life purpose and brings us joy.
I’m hopeful that all those involved with House with a Heart know how meaningful their contribution is…be it monetary donations, donations of supplies, administrative support, or hands-on work at the Sanctuary.
I’m crazy grateful that I can not only care for all of the HWAH residents and fosters but also help out our Rescue Partners and all the folks who call us looking for advice and help to find solutions for their senior pets.
The amazing thing is that every day as I go about the tasks of running House with a Heart and caring for those under our roof and beyond, I am constantly aware that I am not alone.
YOU, our supporters, are behind the scenes making it all possible. And YOU, our volunteers, are here every day doing the many tasks needed to care for the critters and the Sanctuary.
I’m thankful for being able to live my dream of caring for senior pets and all that involves. I’m also crazy thankful for all of you who make it possible in so many ways.
