Jackson was owned by two elderly sisters who were no longer able to care for him or their other pets. Friends of Frederick County Animal Shelter reached out to us (Jelly Bean Rescue)with the request that we rescue and foster him.
Our sweet boy Jackson developed a lump on his forehead about a month ago. Over the course of the month it grew to the size of a large grape. Biopsies were inconclusive as to what it was, and then this morning it burst open.
(June 21st)
We will most likely be having it removed in the coming weeks as the vet feels it will continue to cause Jackson problems. But in the meantime, he is the same sweet snuggly boy who drools when he purrs, loves nothing more than a warm lap, and we will wear his cone of shame with pride
