Friends, we had to say goodbye to our dear Papa on Tuesday, July 19th.
The last couple weeks had been rough on Papa, starting with a severe eye infection and ending with his kidneys failing. He finally let us know today that it was his time to go.
Papa came to House with a Heart, along with his brother Petey a few years ago when their mom went into a nursing home. He lived a full life at House with a Heart, spent mostly snoozing, and crossed the Rainbow Bridge at the ripe old age of 16. He crossed over peacefully with Sher by his side.
He will be dearly missed. We will give Petey some extra loving while he mourns his brother.
