Friends and Supporters:
First, please accept our thanks for your generosity to House with a Heart in the past. It has always made such a difference to our mission which is our senior and special needs animals.
As you know, we are located in Gaithersburg MD, just outside of Washington DC. Our area has been severely affected by the recent government layoffs and now the current federal government shutdown.
We do our best to provide from regular donations and our Short Term Care income, but it is not always enough. If you wish to send a gift, we would be grateful.
Your gift can be mailed to House with a Heart, 6409 Stream Valley Way, Gaithersburg, MD 20882. Please note “Faith’s Funds” on the check.
Or follow this link to donate online: Donate To Faith’s Fund
“Faith’s Fund”, established in honor of our beloved Faith, provides medical care for our senior dogs and cats as well as our special needs dogs. This Fund is used for senior pups and kitties with a good chance of continued quality of life.
We know these are extraordinary times, please only send a gift if you are able.
And again, please accept our heartfelt Thanks.
Sher and all of the critters.

And a sneak peek from our annual newsletter – “My Heart Dog” By Emily Zea)
My Heart Dog – Elvis
Elvis came into my life when he was just 3 months old, and I was 15. I could have never anticipated that loving and caring for him until his final day would lead me to House with a Heart, working with senior dogs and loving every single minute of it.
We grew up together. Through our years, I gained an incredible amount of patience and deep respect for older dogs. The older Elvis got, the more connected I became to him and his needs. He was the beginning of my journey and the reason behind my passion for senior dogs. He will always hold a special place in my heart.
We spent 15 and a half beautiful years together, and the more he aged, the more my love for him grew. He ignited the spark that became my life’s passion. I see him in every senior dog I care for and love, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t be where I am today without the journey we shared.
