PEACHES AKA Big Bird was found as a stray wandering around Baltimore, MD by a good Samaritan and taken to the shelter. Peaches was given her Freedom Ride from the shelter by Hope in early March, who is also going to foster her.
She was pretty sick and has a grade 4/6 heart murmur and just been put on medication for it. Her teeth was also poisoning her system, although she only had 6 left She needed a dental, bloodwork and treatment for a UTI. PEACHES , we hope, will be adopted in the near future, although it is always hard with these seniors.
Foster Update: I am her current foster and this little love bug is so sweet, all she wants to do is be near you or sit in your lap. She’s probably a little over 5 pounds by now. I have yet to hear her make a sound and if you had to leave her, I gate her in my kitchen and she goes right into her bed within 15 minutes.
