This another Miracle Medical Grant rescue story from our newest rescue partner, Reed’s Rescue.

Odie does well with other dogs and kids.He is thriving in his foster home. He enjoys playing with toys, enjoying the yard, just living his best life with his foster mom and fur siblings.

Sad sad rescue story:
Odie came to Baltimore County Animal Shelter as a stray, not-neutered and with a severe wound that was infected, he was hospitalized in early June shortly after Reed’s adopted him with a fever of 104> They kept him to de-bride the wound in his leg,
Since then he has been slowly gaining weight, his wound site has improved dramatically thanks to the care of his foster mom. He is now thriving, playing with toys, enjoying the yard.

If we didn’t step in he surely would not have made it out of the shelter as he needed 3 months of care before we felt comfortable that he was ready for adoption, his wound is still healing but please see the most recent after picture, he has made an amazing recovery.
