Sammy came to us from a shelter where he was in very bad shape. Within 10 days of adressing his medical needs, including dental surgery which he needed immediately, he is now one happy little boy. He runs out in the fenced in area with a new-found burst of energy. He gets along with all the other foster dogs and cats in the house and he just loves the routine where everyone settles in for TV time. Sammy has a special place right next to foster mom. We cannot hold back the tears of happiness as we watched Sammy transition from “broken” to “joy.”
Sammy is a retiree at 14 years old and he is looking for a retired person or couple that he can spend the remaining time he has left. He needs to experience the comfort of a warm environment now that his suffering is over. Don’t cut Sammy short. he would love to go on walks around the neighborhood meeting new folks and new canine friends
