Volunteer
You must be at least 18 years old to volunteer.
Volunteers are a valued and integral part of House with a Heart (HWAH). They provide outstanding care to all of the residents. HWAH volunteers are wonderful people who have a passion for helping senior dogs.
Volunteer requirements
- Must be 18+ years old.
- Experience with dogs is a must. Should be confident and eager to handle dogs, big or small.
- Reliability – must show up on time and on schedule.
- Adaptability and flexibility.
- Problem-solving.
- Teamwork and collaboration.
- Empathy and compassion.
AVAILABLE VOLUNTEER POSITIONS:
Fundraiser Coordinator with non-profit marketing experience (offsite)
Social Media Coordinator with Content creation experience (offsite)
