On January 18th, when the evening temperatures plummeted, someone opened the front door and threw Teddy into a snow pile. Several hours later, Teddy was found in a dark alley, crying hopelessly. He was covered in ice and snow, slowly stumbling along. Teddy reached FOACAS Rescue in Potomac. First we fed this poor little pup who had not seen a meal in days. We drove him to Friendship Hospital in DC, which took X-rays and examined him thoroughly. The miracle is that Teddy only needs daily eye drops, which he readily accepts. Teddy is a pure Shih Tzu, gentle, sweet, a cuddler and a lap dog. He is 10 years old and is pleading for the first loving home of his life. He loves people of all ages and other dogs. He rides well in the car and enjoys short walks. Teddy is 11.5 lbs and should be about 15 lbs. He is scheduled for a dental and has had professional grooming. Teddy sleeps well in his own bed, loves to be picked up, and thrives on affection. He is being fostered in a three-generation home where he enjoys sitting on laps of all ages. Teddy wags his tail and wants to be your best friend. Can you be Teddy’s happy ending? All he needs is a warm spot, warm meals, and a warm heart. Please choose Teddy. You can apply for him at www.foacas.org We all love him so much and so will you.
