Our Meiko is back with us again! Unfortunately, under not so good circumstances. He went to the vet on a week ago Friday for frequent urination, lethargy and drinking lots of water- and it was discovered that he has diabetes!!! Poor buddy’s glucose levels were off the charts! He has a FreeStyle Libre inserted into his skin that monitors his glucose. It will help us figure out his correct insulin dose without having to nick his skin twice a day! We are so thankful to @kentlandsvet for working with us and for always being there for our babies!! We will update frequently on Meiko’s condition and have our fingers crossed for better days to come. 
Meiko has moved up to 2 units of insulin..his glucose is still off the charts but he’s definitely starting to feel better!!! Slowly but surely!
